Welcome to The One Soul Journey, a solo project by singer-songwriter Randy Melton that pays homage to U.S. black music-culture spanning the last 50+ years.
We’re a theme based experience that gives the audience a chance to participate in the ultimate flashback in time.
JAZZ | R&B | GOSPEL | SOUL | FUNK | BLUES​
Our performance is like a journey through the history of African American music. Spanning from the early days of call and response music, to the birthing of Jazz, R&B, soul, funk and blues, we’ll perform music from late 50s, 60s, 70s and some of the 80s.
It's about the journey.

We’ve performed in churches, festivals, on stages and in concert halls for almost 60 years and never get tired of singing the classics. You can expect to hear all of the classics like:
